How can movement, memory, and sensory experience be archived? How can we preserve phenomena that elude fixation and begin to evaporate at the very moment they appear?

The exhibition Archive des Ephemeren (Archives of the Ephemeral) brings together photography, video, installation, and performance exploring both the conditions of preserving and of recalling transient processes. At its core is the inquiry into the material, physical, and medial limits of the archive: What remains once the event has passed, and what forms of storage can do justice to the ephemeral?
