The film Dann vergesse ich alles explores memory, work, and the racially motivated attack in Keupstraße in Cologne, and provides insight into the background of Ali Rıza Ceylan’s artistic practice.

Performative listening with Udo Noll of the sound archive radio aporee

radio aporee is a platform for field recordings and sound art. The project collects field recordings from around the world and makes them accessible via an interactive world map. Users can listen to ambient sounds such as nature sounds, city noises, or recordings of special events, and upload their own recordings. The resulting acoustic archive, which allows people to experience places through their soundscapes and documents changes in living and environmental conditions, has become a valuable resource for art, education, and research.

In addition to collecting and archiving sounds, the platform also invites experimentation at the boundaries of various media and public space—“radio” here refers both to a technology in transition and to a narrative form characterized by connectivity, exchange, and the reversibility of transmitter and receiver. In this context, a series of local radio plays set in public spaces was created, among other projects. In 2010, Deutschlandradio Kultur produced the series “RadioOrtung – Hörspiele für Selbstläufer (Radio Plays for Self-Starters)” based on this concept.

Udo Noll is a media artist and graduated from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences with a degree in photographic engineering. He lives and works in Berlin and is, among other things, the founder and developer of radio aporee. Currently available and running through the end of the year is a production for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ORF Austria that allows listeners to experience radio aporee’s sound archive as a continuous audio stream: www.hoerspielundfeature.de

Hadas Tapouchi, Memory Practice, Distanz Verlag, 2026

In her book presentation of Memory Practice, Hadas Tapouchi offers insights into her artistic work with urban landscapes of memory.

Hadas Tapouchi (born 1981 in Tel Aviv, Israel) uses photography, video, and a research-based approach to explore the transformation of urban spaces and to examine how architecture functions as a repository of knowledge. She received an MFA from the Faculty of Art at the Hamidrasha at Beit Berl College.
She has received grants from, among others, the foundation Stiftung Kunstfonds (2025), the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion (2020), and the Pilecki Institute (2019), and has exhibited at venues including the NS Documentation Center in Munich, as part of Chemnitz 2025: European Capital of Culture, and has held solo exhibitions at venues including the Cultural Center Zamek in Poznań, at Sites and memory in Vienna, and at the Museum Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in Villa Oppenheim, Berlin. She lives and works in Berlin.

Long-term performance by Anna Berndtson

For Anna Berndtson’s long-term performance Ad hoc Re-Performance Berlin, Berlin-based artists are invited via an open call to propose their own previously staged performances for spontaneous re-enactment by the artist. By re-performing the selected works, the project examines the body and movement as living archives, as well as repetition as a discursive and contemporary practice.

Anna Berndtson (born 1972 in Malmö, Sweden) has lived, worked, and studied in England and Germany, among other places. She graduated from Dartington College of Arts in the United Kingdom in 1999 and joined Marina Abramović’s performance class at the HBK Braunschweig in 2001, where she earned her diploma in fine arts in 2005. She teaches and leads workshops on performance art.
Anna Berndtson also collaborates with numerous other artists. Since 2003, she has been working with German artist Irina Runge as part of the performance duo TBL (TallBlondLadies). Corinna Siebert and Kathrin Jobczyk joined TBL, and in 2019 they founded the new multimedia group plan42 together.
Anna Berndtson lives and works in Malmö and Berlin.
