with Christian Falsnæs (in English)

Christian Falsnæs will talk about his interaction with the audience and his methods of influencing collective behaviour during his performances, thus rethinking the notion of “success”.

In 2017, Christian Falsnæs presented his work Feed at PinchukArtCentre, Kiev, Ukraine, as part of the Future Generation Art Prize. In his performance, Falsnæs invited the visitors into a “laboratory where one can experience what social dynamics, power structures and subjugation as well as hierarchical structures do to the individual.”

Christian Falsnæs (born in 1980, Denmark) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Exhibitions of his works includes National Gallery of Denmark, Copenhagen; Manifesta 11, Zurich; Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna; Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin; Centre Pompidou, Paris and ZKM, Karlsruhe. In 2015 he was nominated for the Preis der Nationalgalerie. He lives and works in Berlin.
